:)Bryan, thanks for your article! You've added some new research and have definitely added to the thrust of LDS education for LDS youth. It's gratifying that as people read more writings like yours, they seem to be joining the ranks of the current generation of home and private schoolers. Keep up the good work! - Jack Monnett

This further explains a revelation that I had when homeschooling my children. I felt that I wasn't doing the best job of homeschooling when I gave to birth to several children in a row and then had emergency surgery. Feeling guilty, I thought about putting my children back in public school. I prayed about that decision and a surprising answer came firmly. "It is better that they learn nothing..."

For those of us who have been concerned and motivated enough, these statements that we also discovered while searching for guidance, inspire and encourage us as we attempt to educate our children, the Lord's children, in a way that is pleasing unto Him.

Bryan, I'm grateful for your excellent article propounding important principles. Its message convinced me to talk with my last at-home child to discuss a private school option for high school. While she wasn't enthused by the idea, I've planted an initial seed for further discussion. Thanks. - Bliss Tew
