Apparently even Mitt Romney has come out against the fascist idea of government bailing out the automakers - http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/19/opinion/19romney.html?_r=1.  Too bad he didn't apply these same principles to farm subsidies during his presidential campaign.   Also, why was he so quiet when the Powers That Be decided to bailout the financial industry?

Saturday was my Republican District Convention (7th District of Virginia).  Though the powers that be tried put much effort towards the elimination of the influence of the Ron Paul supporters, I did end up getting elected to go to the Republican National Convention as a delegate (alternate).   There were 6 opens spots and only 5 non-Ron Paulians vying for the positions - so they had to let one
