Wrestling With Right

Yesterday seemed like the longest day of my life, and I am certain that it is only the beginning of many long days.
Our mock convention lasted 3 hours longer then planned as we tried to come to a concensus on the slate that we will present this coming Saturday.
We are a group of like-minded people, and we all have similar goals. We may not all agree on everything, but we all agree on true principles.
There were so many people that stood up to be delegates, which warmed my heart, but when it came time to vote, it was the hardest vote I have ever had to cast. Imagine having 18 people that are all good people, and only being able to choose 6 of them. People that you have worked with for months on end, stood in freezing weather with, stood side by side for liberty through many events. I have grown with these people, and I have come to love them all. There is something that I can absolutely love about all of them.
This movement has really opened my eyes to see past differences and to stand on common ground with all mankind. To have so many people from so many different walks of life, so many different religious beliefs come together was beautiful.
After next Saturday, I will tell you who was on our slate. It wouldn't be a good idea for me to do that right now. I am very pleased with it though. I think that it could not have gone any better then it did.
I would like to ask anyone who is willing and able to please fast with us this coming Friday in preparation for the district convention. Please keep us in your prayers, and if possible, please pray for me, that I may be able to have the strength to continue to fight the good fight.
